How do I apply to the Cardiff University Scholarships?

Cardiff University welcomes all students in undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate levels.

The application process for undergraduates is simple. It starts with searching for the right course from the list available on Cardiff’s website, followed by checking the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) deadlines for application. Then, the next step is to check the entry requirements for the specific course chosen. International students should have a good command of the English language to meet the university’s requirements.

Applications are to be made directly to UCAS, but if you are thinking of taking a part-time course, you have to apply directly to the university. Further information can be found on the How to apply page for Undergraduates.

On the other hand, the process for incoming postgraduate students begins with them choosing between a taught course or a research area. With that, they should check the deadlines, requirements, and fees to not miss out on any important detail. The next thing to do is gather all the needed supporting documents such as exam results, references, personal statement, research proposal, and English Language certificate. Of course, the last thing that students will have to do is decide what funding option is best for them. Afterward, they can proceed with submitting their application online.

Furthermore, it is essential for students looking into studying for a PhD to know that a part-time program is around five to seven years and as for full-time, it is between three to four years. In addition to this, four types of PhD programs are available at Cardiff: practice-based PhD, PhD by published works, integrated PhD, and collaborative degrees.
