The Fully Funded Mexican Government Scholarships for the 2020-2021 session recently got announced for all international students to study for free in Mexico. All the programs under Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, Doctorate program & Postgraduate Research-based programs catering Science and Engineering courses, Medical courses, and law courses will be given preferential seats for the Mexican Scholarship. Mexican Government Scholarship Coverage

The Mexico Government will cover the following expenses if the candidate is awarded the Mexican Government Scholarship:

  1. Enrollment Fee for Mexican University Admission
  2. Mexican University Tuition Fee
  3. Monthly living allowance (Stipend)
  4. Medical Insurance
  5. Airfare in & out of Mexico
  6. Student VISA Application fee for Mexico
  7. Conference and Mexican Study Tour expenses
  8. Traveling allowance for traveling within Mexico

Mexican Government Scholarship Eligibility

  • Mexican nationals are not eligible to apply for Mexican Government Scholarship
  • Scholarships will not be awarded to two or more persons of the same family or spouses
  • You must have a Bachelor’s, Masters or Doctoral Degree required to pursue the degree for which the Mexican scholarship is requested
  • A minimum average of eighty (80) must have been obtained on a scale from 0 to 100, or it’s equivalent, in the last degree obtained
  • Spanish Translation of Documents and forms will be mandatory if the documents are not already in Spanish
  • The impact of the degree program chosen by the candidate must reflect its need in the candidate’s country
  • The selection of degree program at Mexican University must satisfy its course-specific eligibility requirement
  • The request is made in a personal capacity and only one application will be accepted per person.

The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) may verify at any time that the information provided by the applicant is authentic, proceeding in accordance with the regulations in force in case the applicant provides fake information.

Mexican Government Scholarship Application Process

  • Choose a program on priority issues for the development of your country and of a strategic nature for Mexico (priority will be given to the academics of the program related to the health, educational, energy sector, environmental and/or telecommunications)
  • The selected countries (Antigua and Barbuda, Dominican, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Suriname, Guyana, Haiti, Dominica, Nicaragua, Slovak Republic, Palestine, Republic Slovenia, Lithuania, Turkey, Latvia, Venezuela, Jamaica, NewZealand) are allowed to submit Online Application for Mexican Government Scholarship
  • Applicants from other countries need to submit a hard copy of their documents along with Mexican Government Scholarship form to the Mexico Embassy situated in their country for further processing
  • Conduct studies or research that are not taught in your country originally
  • Try to obtain an acceptance letter from the professor of any Mexican University to amplify the chances of your selection for Mexican Government Scholarship

Mexico Government Scholarship Application Document Requirement

  • Written document detailing the reasons that motivate the candidates (Motivation Letter) to carry out the studies or research in Mexico. (Maximum 2 pages, with Arial letter-size 12 and single spacing)
  • The study plan is also required to submit the Mexico Government Scholarship Application
  • The students interested to study Research-based programs in Mexican Universities are required to submit a Research Proposal along with the Mexico Scholarship application
  • Statement of purpose is optional for submission of Mexican Scholarship application
  • Letter of acceptance from any Mexican University Professor (Optional)
  • Commitment Letter for Mexican Government Scholarship Acceptance (Download)
  • Copy of the medical certificate issued by a public institution or private health, with a maximum of 3 (three) months prior to submission of the application, indicating that the applicant enjoys good health and certify that the candidate is eligible to travel abroad for studies. Clinical tests will not be accepted
  • Passport copy or birth certification proof
  • 4 (four) recent, original photographs (not digital prints) of the front, with white background, 3cm x 3cm.They must be delivered with your name and nationality on the back. For online applications, these Photographs must be delivered upon arrival in Mexico if they win the scholarship

Mexican Government Scholarship Deadline

The Mexican Government Scholarship Call will remain valid from July 22 to September 27of 2019, at 3:00 p.m. (Mexico City time). These Mexico Scholarship deadlines are can not be extended.
