Four members of the Fabian Society established the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1895. Through a £20,000 bequest, Graham Wallas, George Bernard Shaw, and Beatrice, and Sidney Webb opened a higher education institution that will provide specialized education and inspire innovation and originality to its students.
