There must be many students who would like to receive a Japanese scholarship when they proceed to a university or a special training school. However, most of the scholarships are granted for foreign students, mainly at graduate schools or junior and senior students of a university. They are seldom given to a freshman or a sophomore, it is even scarce for a special training school student.
In Japan, there are more than 140 private organizations providing scholarships. Apart from private ones, there are scholarships provided by individual universities and local governments. Make all efforts to gather information from your school notice board or other methods. Keep on applying for them.
There are three types of scholarships, “Yokatopia Scholarship for International Students”, and “Future Development Scholarship for International Students”, and “Fukuoka City International Foundation Scholarship”.
The following scholarships are provided by companies, groups, and individuals, as well as the Rainbow International Student Fund, to support international students enrolled in universities in the Fukuoka metropolitan area. Scholarships are intended to alleviate financial burdens so that students may focus on their studies.
