In 2024, it was ranked by QS World University’s Ranking as the #55th best university in the world. Its four campuses host tens of thousands of international students with an overall ratio of 100.

Monash is one of the few universities that aim to change the world. It has programs to bring clean water to remote communities in Africa and is developing revolutionizing findings in the medical field.

Its international focus, wide offer of global partnerships, and cultural diversity make it a great option for students around the globe. Here, we will go over some of the scholarships at Monash University that international students can receive.

How do I apply to Monash’s Scholarships?

To be eligible for Monash’s wide range of scholarships. You must be selected into one of the following programs.

Undergraduate program

First-year students that wish to study in Monash can apply to the university by using its application portal. It is important to note that you can also use Australia’s VTAC program to enroll in Monash.

The process for international students requires them to provide the specific course they want to attend. This is very important because the documents required differ between majors and programs.

Additionally, a series of documents must also be provided to Monash before applying. A copy of your passport, an English language requirement, and the official translation of these must be sent before the deadline.

Finally, an application fee of $100 must be covered beforehand in order to apply.

You can check out the application portal on this link.

Graduate program

Monash graduate program’s applications do not differ significantly from its undergraduate offer. The only difference here is that you can not apply via the VTAC portal.

Applicants are required to check the specific deadlines according to the faculty they wish to apply to. In contrast to their undergraduate counterpart, these programs are more flexible as students can apply anytime throughout the year.

In terms of requirements, a bachelor’s degree must have been earned along with excellent proficiency in English. Some specific programs require additional documentation such as a portfolio, a statement letter, or an interview.

For more information, please check both the graduate studies portal and your desired faculty webpage.
