How do I apply to the Paris Sciences et Lettres University Scholarships?

The Paris Sciences et Lettres University offers courses for undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate students.

For future undergraduates, there are a number of ways to apply in PSL. If you are a 1st-year undergraduate student, you can apply via Parcoursup, a platform used for university applications created by the French Ministry of Education and the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research, & Innovation. But of course, before applying through the said platform, it is essential to read about the admission procedures for your chosen course, which you can easily find on the PSL website.

On the other hand, there may be courses that are not on Parcoursup and so the applicant needs to review the specific steps for admission in those courses. Moreover, if you are an incoming 2nd or 3rd-year undergraduate student, you will be advised to check what is the admission process for your specific course.

Learn more on the Applying page under Undergraduate Admissions on PSL’s official website.

Aspiring postgraduates should note that applying is different for each course. The direct link for submitting applications can be found in the Admissions part of the chosen Master’s program page on the official website. Moreover, applicants will go through more than just applications, they might be asked to join in on interviews, take a written or oral examination, or even participate in a competition.

In addition to this, all applicants should also be aware that each course has language requirements. Furthermore, it is a must for international students’ diplomas and academic transcripts to be translated into French. With that, there are numerous documents required to apply for a Master’s at PSL, and the complete list can be accessed here. Furthermore, choosing a program starts by clicking on this link.

Lastly, incoming PhD students are to start the application process by obtaining the approval of a PhD adviser who is qualified to conduct research and be a part of a research group or team in any doctoral school accredited by PSL. The requirements will depend on the doctoral school, and the head of this will be the one to confirm whether an applicant is eligible to be a PhD student at PSL. Read more on this page.
