How Do I Apply to University of Düsseldorf Scholarships?
The University of Düsseldorf provides a lot of scholarship choices to international students applying or obtaining admission to any of their offered courses in different degree levels. International students applying for undergraduate programs must provide preliminary review documentation or vorprüfungsdokumentation (VPD), issued by uni-assist, and submit it with their application forms and certificate of German language proficiency. They must also provide their high school diploma and academic transcripts.
Postgraduate applicants must provide their degree certificates and academic records (both in their official language and a German translation). They must also submit the original copy of their DSH (level 2 or 3) certificate (or an equivalent to the German language university entrance exam) except if students apply for English-taught courses. Applicants who changed their names must provide official documents such as a marriage contract or others. Students who are already studying in Germany must provide the current certificate of their enrolment.

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation offers scholarships to German and international students pursuing higher education in any German university or technical college. This scholarship available at the University of Düsseldorf will award those who engage in sociopolitical issues and show commitment to the values of social democracy. Students must provide above-average performance in their studies. The Foundation looks for candidates with active political thinking who show perseverance and open-mindedness, good leadership skills, and critical abilities.

Since 1925, the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) Scholarship Program of the German Academic Exchange helped over two million scholars in Germany and abroad. The scholarships allowed students to access the best study and research opportunities in the country. Furthermore, the DAAD aims to nurture talents and skills around the globe to produce future world leaders who will contribute to the economic and educational development of emerging countries.
Students must be applying for a full-time Master’s degree program at the University of Düsseldorf. Additionally, they should have at least two years of proven work experience. They must also meet the minimum English or German language requirement of their chosen degree programs. The DAAD offers its subject-specific study scholarship programs (from the artistic fields to architecture). The funding period will last between 10 and 24 months, depending on the duration of the chosen course.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation offers scholarships to German and international students pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Düsseldorf.
