What’s more is that the world-leading university has a long list of noteworthy alumni. These include NASA astronaut Piers Sellers, breast cancer & cancer drug researcher Tamoxifen V. In fact, students can pick whatever piques their interest from the 300 clubs and societies available.

Presently, the university has over 38,000 students. With that, 28,000 of these are undergraduates and 10,000 are postgraduates. As for international students, the institution houses more than 12,000 from around 130 countries, including exchange students. In line with this, the Times Higher Education 2020 recognized the institution as the 35th most international university in the world.

The University of Leeds is open to all students across undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate programs.

Incoming undergraduate students are to follow a series of steps for application. It starts with choosing one’s course, checking the course’s entry requirements, and applying. Also, applicants need to be fully aware of key dates and application deadlines.

Additionally, for those who will pursue full-time courses, the application is to be done online through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). As for those applying for a part-time degree, applications are to be made directly to the university through the Lifelong Learning Center. Like undergraduates, incoming Master’s students will also have to go through a series of steps for application. Besides this, it is also recommended to check the English language requirements and financial requirements as well.

Applying can be easily done through the university’s online application portal. Following this, the submission will be processed after which the university will inform the applicant of the result. For more details, view this page for Master’s applications.

When it comes to applying for research degrees, it must be noted that applicants are to be done online. Again, there are steps to follow, but these are slightly different from the ones for undergraduate and Master’s students.

It starts with choosing an ongoing research project or initiating a new one. The next step is to apply and find a scholarship or funding aid. Lastly, once the application is checked and an offer letter is sent to the applicant, they only need to accept it and can immediately start with the research degree.
