How do I apply to the Zhejiang University Scholarships?

Zhejiang University has a variety of programs for incoming undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate students.

Incoming undergraduate students’ first step is to choose a program from a catalog listing the nearly one hundred options available from the faculties of science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, information technology, humanities, and social sciences. Additionally, Chinese is the medium of instruction primarily utilized, but several programs are taught in English. Moreover, the age limit is another factor to consider as the university does not accept undergraduates older than 25 years old. Read more on the university’s official Undergraduate Programs Admission page.

Like undergraduates, future Master’s students are advised to start their application process by choosing a suitable program from the said catalog. It must be noted that there is also an age limit for Master’s students and anyone over the age of 35 will not be admitted. For further details, view this page for the Application Guide for Master’s Degree Programs.

For aspiring PhD students, the process is also the same. It also begins with the applicant choosing what doctoral degree program is best for him or her. Again, there’s an age limit set in place and only students under the age of 40 will be accepted. Complete information can be found on the website’s page for the Application Guide for Doctoral Degree Programs.

Applicants in all levels must be informed that there is an application fee of RMB 800. Furthermore, postgraduate students will have to pay an extra amount of RMB 8,000 per academic year if they decide to take up an English-taught program.
